Though it’s a simple looking gymnasium, Luitpold gymnasium has the significance of being associated with a great personality, Albert Einstein.
Einstein attended a Catholic elementary school in Munich, from the age of five to eight as his family was a non-observant Ashkenazi Jews. His family then transferred him to the Luitpold Gymnasium when he was eight. He was there for 7 years and studied advanced primary and secondary school education. After completing his secondary school education, he left the German empire.
