Carl Conrads, a famous sculptor sculpted the statue of Alexander Hamilton that is located in Central Park, Manhattan. This is an outdoor granite sculpture. John C. Hamilton, son of Alexander Hamilton permitted Carl to sculpt this statue. This statue was revealed on November 22, 1880, and bestowed to the city. A bust of Hamilton was sculpted earlier by the sculptor Giuseppe Ceracchi. Carl used that bust as a model for the head of Hamilton’s statue.
